Description

In this premium video, Outdoor Photography Guide’s David Johnston explains why the OM-1 System Mark II is a remarkably versatile camera for outdoor shoots. He tested this camera for landscape and wildlife photography, and the results were phenomenal.

He took the OM-1 Mark II to the mountains and tested the weather sealing. It is weather-sealed against the most extreme elements. He shot images in freezing cold and in rain. He sprayed the camera with a hose, and buried it in ice and snow. The camera worked perfectly.

Another feature is the live built-in ND 8 filters, which enables you to capture moving water or clouds without using a screw-on filter. You don’t even need a tripod.

For wildlife photography, David recommends the OM System 150-600mm lens, which can be handheld. The camera features auto-focus subject detection, which will track a bird up to 120 frames per second in razor sharp focus.
