Description

There are many ways to photograph a flower patch. In this video, pro shooter Tony Sweet shows you a unique method, what he calls the Zoom Swirl. Using a telephoto zoom lens with a tripod collar, he demonstrates the Zoom Swirl technique. For this abstract spiral image, he shoots ten multiple exposures, each at a different zooming rotation angle. In another example, he goes handheld with a wide angle zoom lens and autofocuses on a single flower, then shoots ten multiple exposures, rotating the camera. The Zoom Swirl is an unusual concept, but with practice, you can create your own abstract flower images.
